Description

The Control Techniques Unidrive SP is a Solutions Platform, with 7 operating modes; V/Hz, open loop vector, rotor flux control, servo, regen and torque. Standard onboard Encoder feedback can accept 14 different encoder types. Safe Torque Off function has been independently verified by the European Safety organizations, BGIA and TUV and under many conditions eliminates the need for safety contactors by utilizing secure circuitry to prevent the motor form being powered by the drive. The Unidrive SP offers multiple Fieldbus Capability; in addition to the standard Modbus RTU port, up to three fieldbus option modules can be installed in the SP’s option slots. This provides the capability to control and monitor a Unidrive SP on Profibus DP, Ethernet, DeviceNet, CAN, CANOpen, EtherCat, Interbus-S and CTNet. The Unidrive SP has scalble PLC functionality to solve virtually any application requirement. Simple logic function programming is acheived using SyptLite software and the drive’s in built PLC. More complex systems can be solved by adding SM-Applications LiteV2 (with Syptlite and SyptPro), SM Applications Plus (SyptPro only) or SM-EZMotion (PowertoolsPro) option modules.
